Sorry I haven't "Blogged" much!

Reason being why I haven't blogged a lot this week was due to playing White Knight Chronicles. I really enjoyed this unique game. The battle system is works like an MMOG in my opinion. It has a regular attack system, but you can actually make your techniques into macro like combos. The Graphics are really amazing! The character customization wit hskills and character looks are very detailed and well thought out. The leveling is slightly slow paced but thats why you get side quests. Only thing I didn't really like is how your created character doesn't play a part. More or less your character is just in the game because you created him for only that purpose haha. The story line was really well thought out but as I said your character hardly plays a part if any in the story line. Leonard (Apparently the main chracter) reminds me of a naturally good natured person. The developers could have easily made the created characters play a good part in the story. For example, they had voices you could choose from which could follow a script with what ever voice you have choosen. All you would have to do is make a story line program whatever voice the user picks and make their mouths move to the script and it would be peachy. Other than those problems the game seems quite promising and long!

My Favorite Game Genre and MMOG's!

My favorite types of video games are MMOG's (Massive Multiplayer Online Games). I have tried pretty much every big time MMOG and some low end ones. My favorite big time MMO is City of Heroes/Villains. My favorite Low-End MMO is currently S4 League or Megaten Online. City of Heroes/Villains isn't for everyone. I like COH/COV, because of its customization and PVP even though the developers screwed up the PVP, I'm hoping for the best by them fixing this major issue. S4 league is a shooter MMO thats fast paced and based on your ability to aim well. Megaten is a very unique game. In Megaten the goal of the game is to tame monsters and combine your monsters to create more powerful and cooler monsters haha. I haven't tried the pvp yet in this game nor I have played this game for awhile. The PVE is simple, but yet fun and addiciting. I dislike World of Warcraft for many reason if you were wondering why I didn't include WOW in my favorite MMOG's. My first reason is WOW's player base isn't very smart and think they are amazing when they are very terrible. Second people who think they are amazing at pvp on that game don't understand the concept of how the game's pvp is based off of who has the better armor than skill. Skill plays a very small part in this broken pvp system. Last, but not least I will say I like the arenas and wish mor egames would have arenas like WOW's or even a Battle Ground mode. I really hate how all the new MMO's are dissapointing by being very similar to MMO's before them... I am VERY sick of playing games like every other mmo where you just get skills with different names and thats it. Aion was NOT the first MMO with aerial PVP by far... City of Heroes is not based off of an aerial PVP game but still has it. I have now got myself venting so I'm going to stop before I make my teacher wait a week before I'm done. ^^

Lol @ my Ideas!

To start things off me and my partner kept changing our idea and mixing our ideas together. The main problem we had was making a game educational. I'm quite sure a lot of people have this same problem. We mixed some of our ideas to what became a basic square with a customizable character platforming in the square while dodging a ball with a randomized path. The main goal of the game would be to get the shiney numbers before the ball you were trying to avoid killed you. You can jump off walls, get new shoes to make you run faster, jump farther, or higher. The levels get harder as you get higher into the levels like adding plat forms, elements to the environment, and more to keep the intrest in the game. We more or less ditched this idea for a "Survival of the Fittest" genre. I am not sure hows this is going to work out, but I'm sure we'll pull through!
